Regent College are very excited to be working in partnership with Newcastle Town Football Club.
Since our health & Fitness Tutor Alan Baxter became part of the coaching staff for Newcastle Town 1st Team this has opened lots of opportunities for our youngsters who attend the college.
We have learners volunteering on match days completing roles on admissions, promotion and filming, and litter picking the grounds. Our learners have gained valuable life skills and work experience whilst completing these roles and they have enjoyed the added bonus of being part the atmosphere at a Saturday league football game.
Regent College and Newcastle Town plan to use this opportunity to promote and encourage inclusiveness and accessibility for individuals with a disability to feel safe and comfortable whilst enjoying good quality football.
Regent College would like to thank all the team at Newcastle Town FC for making us feel so welcome and supporting us with this opportunity. We are very much looking forward to continuing this partnership work next season.
