Under 18s in FA Youth Cup action

Big game coming up for our Under-18s

It’s not just the first team that has been on a terrific cup run this season and this Thursday friends, family and supporters of our terrific under 18s side will have the chance to see our boys take on Kidderminster Harriers in the final qualifying round of the FA Youth Cup at Buckmaster Avenue.

The lads have done superbly already to get this far but captain Alfie Cowley and the rest of the team are now gunning for the first round and would love your support to help them get over the line.

The team had a big home win over Stafford Rangers in the preliminary qualifying round before two impressive wins on our travels. The boys went to Stratford in the next round, winning impressively again, before heading back to Warwickshire again in the last round to face Racing Club Warwick.

Trailing 2-1, it seemed our interest in the youth cup might have been done for another season, but the boys turned it around with a great 3-2 comeback victory to get a home draw on Thursday.

Now we need you! Let’s cheer the boys on to the first round as they try to realise what would be an exceptional achievement.

The game kicks off at 7.45pm on Thursday at Buckmaster Avenue. It’s £5 for adults, £3 for concessions and £2 for kids. So, get yourself along and give these a lads a big lift.

Come on ‘Castle!
