Newcastle Town Football Club partner with Deaf Action to bring footballs sessions to Staffordshire.

Action Deafness and Newcastle Town Football Club Launch New Youth Football Hub for D/deaf Young People Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire.
Action Deafness, in partnership with Newcastle Town Football Club, is proud to announce the launch of an exciting new initiative designed to support D/deaf, Hard of Hearing young people and Children of Deaf Adults (CODAs) through sport and social engagement.
In response to a growing gap in local provision for deaf young people—following the closure of several community services—this partnership has established the D-Youth Hub, a safe and inclusive space for young people to connect, learn, and thrive through the power of football.
Hosted at Newcastle Town Football Club’s Roe Lane facility, the D-Youth Hub will offer weekly, organised football coaching sessions for boys and girls aged 12 to 18 years. These sessions will not only promote physical activity but also provide opportunities for participants to build friendships and confidence in a supportive environment. Crucially, all sessions will be fully accessible, with a qualified British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter present at every session.
Session Details:
🗓 Wednesdays
🕔 5:00 – 6:00 PM
📍 Roe Lane Playing Fields, Newcastle-under-Lyme
⚽ Activities will include outdoor coaching on the state-of-the-art 3G pitch and access to indoor meeting spaces.
