Castle travelled up the M6 for the first of 3 big away games in a week and started with a valuable 3 points.
Castle handed a start to Joe Slinn on his return to the club, and Joe Berks returned to the starting XI to replace the injured Jack van der Laan.
Both sides had limited chances in the first half with both keepers making big saves to keep their sides in the game.
However, in the second half on 59 castle broke the deadlock with a superbly taken goal from Joe Berks
Kendal had chances to get the leveller but Joe Slinn and the backline were formidable in stopping them and then on 83 minutes Castle broke away and Lewis Jarman netted his first goal of the season
Castle then held out to take the 3 points back down the M6 and now look ahead to Monday night football in Market Drayton.
