We are delighted to announce that Matt Harrison has signed his 1st semi-professional contract with the club.
The 6.4ft versatile central defender can play in fullback positions and has played as a target man upfront for our midland floodlit team. Matt is a real Newcastle Town FC success story as he started with the club as a 6-year-old in our soccer schools and progressed through our age groups into our 1st team squad.
Matt is also the 1st contract player that has been part of our successful BTEC football and education programme. We feel Matt has the talent, physical attributes and temperament to establish himself as a top centre back for this level and beyond.
