Newcastle Town FC Secure New Stadium and Shirt Sponsor, and Unveil Club Mascot for 2025/2026 Season.

Newcastle Town FC have secured a brand-new stadium and shirt sponsor, as well as a club mascot, for the 2025/2026 season.

The stadium, which is home to the men’s and women’s first teams—as well as many local cup finals—will now be renamed The GRG Stadium in honour of their new sponsor, GRG Waste UK.

The new stadium name will proudly appear across the home stand, and the men’s and women’s first teams will sport the GRG Waste UK logo on their home and away shirts.

GRG Waste UK is active in the transportation, processing, and trading of all forms of waste, and prioritises diverting waste away from landfill.

The group comprises five waste management organisations and operates six waste transfer and treatment facilities across the UK, with its head office based locally in Crewe.

GRG Waste UK Procurement Manager Mike Houston-Smith said: “We are delighted to have agreed naming rights to the Newcastle Town stadium and are proud to see our name on the front of shirts for both the men’s and women’s teams.

“Our group has supported many charities and local causes over the years, but we believe this partnership with a community-driven club demonstrates the importance of playing an active part in our local community.

“From our first meeting with Newcastle Town, we could see the real efforts being made to connect the club and the town, and the value this adds to the community. We hope that our sponsorship will contribute towards this.

“We are looking forward to the season and wish everyone at the club every success.”

Newcastle Town Chairman Gavin Appleby added: “We are delighted that GRG Waste UK have chosen Newcastle Town FC as their community partners.

“The support from GRG for our men and women's teams will ensure the club continues to develop and further enhances its community programme.

“We are also excited to welcome a new member to Newcastle Town, so come down this Saturday to meet our new mascot!”

The new sponsorship will be unveiled by the Deputy Lord Mayor who will be cutting the ribbon to the newly named stadium at the men’s home game against Bootle this Saturday 20^th September.
