Reserve Team Cup Action

Reserves ready to go in four ‘cup finals’

With our first team’s season now over, why not get along and support our men’s reserve team this bank holiday weekend as they go into the business end of their season.

In a league campaign which has seen them lose just four of their 20 games, promotion is very much the buzz word.

They currently lie third in the league table knowing that a win over Leek next week and then winning the game they have in hand, would put our lads in second place and secure promotion.

Before the final league fixtures kick in though, it’s cup semi-final time. And what a mouth-watering prospect we have in store.

In our last three games Dave Dale’s boys have done a cracking job, drawing with Keele University and the champions AFC Crewe and thumping Foley 3-0.

Tomorrow, we take on AFC Crewe again.

They have already won the league and will be gunning for a league and cup double. Of course we know that our south Cheshire rivals will be tough opposition, but this is a great opportunity to finish the season strongly and who knows, even end with a cup win and promotion!

Kick-off is 2pm at Buckmaster Avenue this Saturday. Get yourself down there and support the boys.
