Town in another final

Our youngsters have once again made club history after beating Milton United 4-1 in the Sentinel Cup Semi Final last Thursday.
Goals from Alex Barnett (x2), Joe Brown and Callum Wilshaw saw Town edge past a depleted Milton team at a sunny Wellbeing Park in Stone.
The win puts the club into it's 10th straight final...yes you read that right...10th straight final!
Team Manager and Club Chairman Gavin Appleby expressed his pride at the achievement, saying "It's really unbelievable when you think about it, something we could never have imagined all those years ago. It's a credit to the club, volunteers and players for such an achievement."

Despite making last years final, Town's youngsters were beaten on penalties against a strong Leek Town side, making Castle's last win in the competition 2023 when current 1st Team coach Dean Gillick led his youngsters to an impressive and historic 8-0 victory, a competition record.
Speaking of records, Newcastle now own some of the most impressive stats in the competitions 125+ year history holding the two highest recorded victories in a final (8-1 in 2013 and 8-0 in 2023) and being the first ever club to have two of their own teams play each other in the final (2016).
This years side will now play Foley Meir this upcoming Thursday for the chance to bring the silverware back to the Lyme Valley. It's a 7pm kick off at Stoke City's Bet 365. It's a chance for us to make even more club history!
