PRE MATCH PINT

For the Kidsgrove supporters travelling to us, if you fancy a pre match drink ahead of entering our clubhouse the following venues are highly recommended by our media team, however with it been a local derby you could probably leave your own local by 1:45pm and still be at us in plenty of time but incase you are not

Hogarths - ST5 1PS

Found in the Town centre and a short walk from the ground Hogarths offers a wide selection of Gins and has very reasonably priced drinks along with LIVE sport on many different TV screens as well as a large projector screen in the middle of the venue, Open from 11 am

The Castle Mona - ST5 1NT

Situated just off the A34 on the way to the ground it's a lovely little side pub with a wide selection of real ales and a very good atmosphere, also if you fancy a game of darts, pool or even Skittles this is your venue. Open from midday

The Boat and Horses - ST5 1LU

Situated at the top of the Lyme Valley parkway which will walk you straight to the ground they offer a vast selection of local and national real ales and are recommended in the CAMRA and GoodPub Guides. Open from Midday

So who are we up against?

Today's opponents in Kidsgrove Athletic have started the season well and are unbeaten in the league having won 2 and drawn 1 in their opening league fixtures.

They have also not yet had a game where they have not managed to score and the fire power on show for them is very strong but they need no history intro from this post as we all know each other well.

WHO 2 WATCH FOR

We all know there players well and there are a few we need to make sure we don't take our eye off in this game, the likes of Kieran Brown, Aaron Bott have all played for both sides, but our one to watch out for is the keeper today Tom Booth in goals, very highly rated at Crewe and will be a good loan signing for Kidsgrove, strong and has good shot stopping presence.

MATCH PREDICTION

Can we continue the unbeaten run well this will be a test for us but if we follow the seasons form this is a W as so far we have gone W,D,W,D,W,D so this should be a W. One thing for sure is it will have over 2.5 goals and i would expect at least 5 bookings across the game.
